NATHALIE PEÑA COMAS, soprano

Nathalie studied piano and flute at the Conservatorio Nacional de Música of Santo Domingo and is a graduate of the Universität für Musik und Kunst Wien (Austria) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Voice (with honors) and Piano Pedagogy.

Nathalie's opera performances include the roles of Lucia (Mateo) Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Musetta (La Bohème), Valencienne (Lustige Witwe), Gretel (Hansel and Gretel), Queen of trolls (The two Fiddlers), Gabi (Agleia Federweiss) and Zerlina (Don Giovanni),
She has sung concerts alongside important orchestras such as National Symphony Orchestra of the Dominican Republic, Radio Symphony Orchestra of Belarus and the Russian State Philharmonic Orchestra.
As a chamber musician and recitalist Nathalie has performed on important stages such as MuTH (Vienna Boy`s Choir Theater) Musikverein and Konzerthaus in Vienna; Filharmonia Cracow in Poland; Sala Teatrino at Liceu (Barcelona, Spain) Palacio de Bellas Artes and Teatro Nacional Eduardo Brito in Dominican Republic.

Awards and Honors:
2014- Prize for the ''Most Promising Soprano'' and for the ''Best Interpretation of a Polish Composition'' at the 14th Ada Sari International Competition of Vocal Art.
2013- Award for the ''Artistic Achievements'' at the National Youth Prize  of the Dominican Republic.

Winner for "Classical Singer of 2013, 2014 & 2015" at Soberano Awards.
