DAMIEN LANCELLE, guitar
Damien was twelve years old when he started with the guitar as a second instrument after the violin, and was admitted two years later in the Conservatoire National de Région in Versailles. After graduating with honors in 2003, he studied with the French guitar virtuoso Judicael Perroy.
In 2006, he moved to Vienna (Austria) to study under the guidance of Brigitte Zaczek at the University for Music and Performing Arts, from which he holds a Master of arts. In May 2011, he took the first place in a competition for all string instruments at the University.
Besides his activity as a member of Spirituosi, he is regularly invited to play solo recitals in Europe, America and Asia.
He was awarded numerous prizes in international guitar competitions, including:
